EASA EPAS 2020-2024

EPAS; EUROPEAN PLAN FOR AVIATION SAFETY PUBLISHED BY EASA

20-JAN-2020, EASA published the new EPAS. This document is interesting as it contains a look into the future of EASA rule making. The area of initial and continuing airworthiness forms an important part of the document. Chapter 9 and 10 of the document cover the airworthiness issue that will be subject to change in the coming 4 years.
Subjects like Class D cargo compartment fire protection, HP rotor integrity, AMC-20 update, airworthiness review processes and technical records requirements are expected to be updated. The document contains NPA numbers and organisations are encouraged to consult the document in order to be prepared for the future
