Bart Mak and Bart Weijman visited the Formnext fair in Frankfurt to gain knowledge and have an overview of 3D scanning solutions for the purpose of damage assessment and

reverse engineering.

20-JAN-2020, EASA published the new EPAS. This document is interesting as it contains a look into the future of EASA rule making. The area of initial and continuing airworthiness forms an important part of the document. Chapter 9 and 10 of the document cover the airworthiness issue that will be subject to change in the coming 4 years.
Subjects like Class D cargo compartment fire protection, HP rotor integrity, AMC-20 update, airworthiness review processes and technical records requirements are expected to be updated. The document contains NPA numbers and organisations are encouraged to consult the document in order to be prepared for the future
